Trust yourself when your life's in a muddle
Trust yourself when you've broken your heart
Use your mind and your Spirit together
To keep you from falling apart.
You see the world and its workings as ugly
Of yourself you've a negative view
Don't you get any feeling of beauty
Can't you see that it's coming from you.
You're not a fool, or an idiot, or stupid
You don't 'deserve what is coming to you'
You're a human who sometimes gets muddled
You just need to work out what to do
So take your heart, take your mind, take your confidence
Take a happy and positive view
And go forwards and onwards and upwards
To where the world's shining bright - just for you!
