When is enough, enough?
At what stage, if ever, do multi-billionaires decide that they have enough money and enough of the power that always accompanies money? Is it greed based in fear and insecurity that drives people to own more than they could ever use even during several lifetimes? At what point for the individual does unlimited power and abundance become meaningless? These are questions that have baffled the majority of non-multi-billionaire folks since time immemorial, and yet the fear felt by the few of losing generates the greed of gaining. In turn this is one of the main driving forces that shape the lives of those baffled majorities.
What about those baffled majorities? Baffled majorities exist throughout the world in fact this planet is teeming with baffled majorities. A question any member of a baffled majority could ask his or her self might be, “If I became a billionaire would it affect my outlook upon life?” This would be an academic question very unlikely to be answered during that individual’s lifetime.
Born as unique individual human beings why must we always find ourselves designated for the faceless roles of crowd-scene, expendable extras? What is it about owning large gobbets of money and power that entitles the ‘haves’ that own them to dictate and manipulate the lives of the countless ‘have-nots’?
